Cubs' Kyle Hendricks (shoulder) tosses light pen session
Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks (shoulder) threw a light, 15-pitch bullpen session Monday.
What It Means:
Hendricks was placed on the injured list June 15 with a right shoulder impingement. If he wakes up feeling fine Tuesday, then the right-hander will be on track for a full bullpen session later this week.
Hendricks is 7-5 in 14 starts this season. He owns a 3.36 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with 75 strikeouts and 16 walks across 88 1/3 innings.
