Washington's Joe Ross expected to start on Sunday

Washington Nationals pitcher Joe Ross was promoted to the active roster on Friday.

Ross is expected to start against the Atlanta Braves on Sunday after spending a month in Triple-A Fresno. In four minor league starts this season, the 26-year old pitcher produced a 2.65 ERA and 10 strikeouts.
