Rich Hill (forearm) going on Dodgers' injured list
Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Rich Hill will be placed on the injured list with a left forearm injury.
Hill only made it through one inning of Wednesday's start against the San Francisco Giants before being removed with discomfort in his throwing arm. The 39-year-old southpaw said it's been an issue after his past two starts, but doesn't think it will cost him "a tremendous amount of time." An MRI is scheduled for Thursday. Hill retired the Giants in order in the first inning on Wednesday night, striking out two of the three batters.
Hill is 4-1 in 10 starts this season. He owns a 2.55 ERA and 1.11 WHIP with 61 strikeouts and 12 walks over 53 innings.
