Dodgers' Kenta Maeda to get an extra day of rest before next start
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Kenta Maeda will have his next start pushed back a day to Sunday versus the Colorado Rockies.
What It Means:
Maeda was scheduled to start Saturday but Julio Urias will take the mound instead. Maeda is dealing with a sore wrist and the extra day will help him heal.
Maeda owns a 3.87 ERA and 1.08 WHIP while striking out 77 and walking 26 over 76 2/3 innings pitched this season.
