Blue Jays' Ken Giles (elbow) to face hitters Wednesday
Toronto Blue Jays reliever Ken Giles (elbow) will face hitters on Wednesday.
Giles hasn't pitched since June 5 due to right elbow inflammation. The Blue Jays are hopeful the right-hander won't need a rehab assignment, indicating he could be activated later this week.
Giles has converted 11 of 12 saves this season while posting a 1.08 ERA with 42 strikeouts and 7 walks over 25 innings (25 appearances).
