Nick Senzel (eye) sitting for Cincinnati Sunday
Cincinnati Reds center fielder Nick Senzel (eye) is not starting in Sunday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Ariel Jurado and the Texas Rangers.
Senzel made an early exit from Saturday's game after a foul tip bounced off the dirt and popped him in the left eye. Consider him day-to-day. Jesse Winker is covering center field and the leadoff spot. Josh VanMeter is in left.
Senzel is slashing .266/.325/.481 with 6 homers, 11 doubles, 16 RBI, 24 runs scored, and 5 steals across his first 170 plate appearances in the majors.
