Baltimore's David Hess will pitch in the bullpen
Baltimore Orioles pitcher David Hess has been removed from the rotation and will pitch in the bullpen going forward.
What It Means:
Hess has struggling mightily this season and will likely pitch in a long relief role for now. The Orioles will start Josh Rogers next Wednesday and then juggle through candidates to see who can win the fifth spot in their rotation.
In 13 starts this season, Hess has produced a 7.20 ERA and 53 strikeouts.
