Seattle's Marco Gonzales has next start pushed back to Friday
Seattle Mariners pitcher Marco Gonzales will start on Friday for the series opener with the Oakland Athletics.
What It Means:
Gonzales was scheduled for Thursday but will get an extra day of rest this week. Yusei Kikuchi will take the mound on Thursday for the series finale with the Minnesota Twins.
Gonzales has posted a 4.77 ERA and 1.40 WHIP with 59 strikeouts and 25 walks over 83 innings pitched this season.
