St. Louis Cardinals shortstop Paul DeJong is not starting in Monday's series opener versus right-hander Sandy Alcantara and the Miami Marlins.
It appears to be a rare breather for DeJong. Yairo Munoz is covering shortstop for the Cardinals on Monday.
