Reds expect Joey Votto (hamstring) to return Fridya
Cincinnati Reds manager David Bell expects first baseman Joey Votto (hamstring) to return to action Friday versus the Washington Nationals.
What It Means:
Votto tweaked his hamstring on Monday, but it looks like he will avoid the Injured List. He currently has a .705 OPS, which would be a career-low, but is 10 for his last 18.
Our models project Votto to hit .267 with 8 home runs and 40 RBIs over 402 remaining plate appearances this season.
