New York Mets utility-man J.D. Davis will not start against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday.
Davis will rest today with Michael Conforto starting in right field and Carlos Gomez shifting to left.
In 122 at-bats this season, Davis is hitting .270 with 5 home runs and 14 RBI.
