Angels place Matt Harvey (back) on the 10-Day Injured List
Los Angeles Angels pitcher Matt Harvey was placed on the 10-Day Injured List after suffering an upper back strain.
Harvey will miss some time after suffering an upper back strain in his last start against Minnesota. The right-hander has been struggling this season, allowing 40 earned runs in 48 innings pitched. The Angels will replace his roster spot with Taylor Cole.
Through ten starts this season, Harvey has produced a 7.50 ERA and 35 strikeouts.
