Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers will not start against the Houston Astros on Friday.
Devers will sit tonight with Eduardo Nunez at third base, Michael Chavis at second base, Mookie Betts in right field, and J.D. Martinez handling designated hitting duties.
In 189 at-bats this season, Devers is hitting .317 with 6 home runs and 29 RBI.
