Matt Adams on Nationals' bench against Mets
Washington Nationals first baseman Matt Adams is not starting in Thursday afternoon's series finale left-hander Steven Matz and the New York Mets.
Adams went 1-for-4 and struck out twice on Wednesday in his first game back from a multi-week absence due to a shoulder strain. Howie Kendrick is replacing Adams on first base on Thursday as Washington wraps up this four-game road set.
numberFire's models expect Adams to record 11 homers, 32 RBI, and 25 runs scored over the rest of the season.
