Oakland Athletics outfielder Robbie Grossman is not in the lineup on Friday in the team's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Grossman is being replaced in left field by Chad Pinder against Tigers starter Daniel Norris.
In 131 plate appearances this season, Grossman has a .225 batting average and a .722 OPS.
