The Atlanta Braves placed center fielder Ender Inciarte on the 10-day injured list with a lumbar strain.
Inciarte was removed from Tuesday night's loss to the St. Louis Cardinals with the injury. Ronald Acuna is covering center field against the Cardinals on Wednesday while Austin Riley makes his major league debut in left.
Inciarte is batting .218/.300/.323 with 2 homers, 5 doubles, 1 triple, 9 RBI, 13 runs scored, and 3 steals through 140 plate appearances.
