Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton officially diagnosed with strained shoulder
New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton has officially been diagnosed with a left shoulder strain.
Stanton took batting practice on Monday and felt fine, but has been bothered by a sore shoulder recently. He will take a few weeks to rehabilitate this new injury. Stanton has been out since April 1 with a biceps strain, which he is fully recovered from.
Our models project Stanton for a .260 average with 15 homers and 43 RBI in 306 plate appearances the rest of the season.
