The Detroit Tigers placed starting pitcher Tyson Ross on the 10-day injured list with a ulnar nerve issue.
Ross has given up at least 4 runs and failed to make it past the fifth inning in three straight starts while his ERA has lept from 3.38 to 6.11 in that span. The Tigers haven't announced a corresponding roster move.
Ross is 1-5 through seven starts. In addition to the 6.11 ERA, he has a 1.67 WHIP with 25 strikeouts and 18 walks across 35 1/3 innings.
