Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (hamstring) was placed on the 10-Day Injured List on Saturday.
After suffering a left hamstring strain on Friday, the Houston second baseman will need some time to heal. Altuve will be eligible to return to the active roster on May 20th.
Expect Aledmys Diaz to see more playing time at second base. In 64 at-bats this season, Diaz is hitting .219 with 3 home runs and 15 RBI.
