Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Nick Ahmed is not in the lineup on Sunday in the team's game against the Colorado Rockies.
Ahmed is being replaced at shortstop by Ildemaro Vargas against Rockies starter German Marquez.
In 133 plate appearances this season, Ahmed has 16 RBI, a .260 batting average and a .724 OPS.
