A.J. Pollock likely to Dodgers' injured list with elbow infection
Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder A.J. Pollock is expected to be placed on the injured list with a right elbow infection, per manager Dave Roberts.
What It Means:
It doesn't sound like the sort of issue that will keep Pollock out much longer than the 10-day minimum. Alex Verdugo figures to see the majority of starts in center field for the Dodgers while Pollock is sidelined.
Pollock is batting .223/.287/.330 with 2 home runs, a triple, 3 doubles, 14 RBI, and 15 runs scored through 115 plate appearances.
