Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi allowed just 4 hits with 7 strikeouts and a walk over seven shutout innings in a 1-0 victory over the Houston Astros on Monday.
It was the best start of the season from Odorizzi, who has allowed just 3 runs over his past three outings, dropping his ERA from 4.76 to 3.34 in the process. The 29-year-old right-hander's next start is scheduled for Saturday versus the New York Yankees.
