A.J. Pollock out of Dodgers' Monday lineup
Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder A.J. Pollock is not starting in Monday's series opener versus right-hander Jeff Samardzija and the San Francisco Giants.
What It Means:
It's the second time in the past three games Alex Verdugo has gotten the nod in center field over Pollock. His batting average has plummeted from .324 to .223 over the past three-plus weeks.
