Chicago White Sox outfielder Adam Engel will not start in Friday's matchup against the Detroit Tigers.
Engel will head to the bench tonight with Eloy Jimenez starting in left field and Leury Garcia moving to center.
In 35 at-bats this season, Engel is batting .143 with one home run and three RBI.
