Joey Wendle (wrist) placed on Rays' injured list
The Tampa Bay Rays placed second baseman Joey Wendle on the 10-day injured list with a fractured right wrist.
What It Means:
Wendle suffered the injury on Wednesday when he was hit by a pitch. He's likely going to miss several weeks. The Rays are calling up Christian Arroyo from Triple-A Durham in a corresponding roster move.
