Nick Delmonico making his season debut for White Sox Monday
Chicago White Sox outfielder Nick Delmonico is making his season debut in Monday's series opener versus right-hander David Hess and the Baltimore Orioles.
What It Means:
Delmonico was called up from Triple-A Charlotte to help fill in while Eloy Jimenez is on the bereavement list. He's in left field and hitting sixth on Monday.
Delmonico was batting .286/.382/.540 with 3 home runs, 10 RBI, and 13 runs scored in 17 games at the Triple-A level this season.
