Odubel Herrera (hamstring) placed on Phillies' injured list

The Philadelphia Phillies placed outfielder Odubel Herrera on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain.

What It Means:

Herrera suffered the injury in Wednesday's win over the New York Mets. Roman Quinn has been activated from the IL in a corresponding roster move and is starting in center field on Thursday versus left-hander Kyle Freeland and the Colorado Rockies. Aaron Altherr and Scott Kingery could also see time in center while Herrera is on the shelf.

Herrera is batting .270/.319/.381 with a home run, 4 doubles, 7 RBI, and 7 runs scored through 69 plate appearances.
