White Sox's Ryan Cordell called up, starting against Tigers
Chicago White Sox outfielder Ryan Cordell is starting in Thursday afternoon's series opener against right-hander Tyson Ross and the Detroit Tigers.
What It Means:
Cordell is in right field and batting ninth after just being recalled from Triple-A Charlotte. Leury Garcia is moving to center field, sending Adam Engel to the bench.
