Marco Estrada (back) lands on Oakland's 10-day IL
Oakland Athletics pitcher Marco Estrada (back) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday.
What It Means:
Estrada was rocked in his last two starts, allowing 13 runs in 7 1/3 innings. Now he is dealing with a lumbar strain that will force him to miss at least one start. Chris Bassitt was recalled in a corresponding move and will likely start in Estrada's place.
Estrada owns a 6.85 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP with 11 strikeouts in 23 2/3 innings pitched this season.
