Braves' Arodys Vizcaino likely done for 2019 after shoulder surgery
Atlanta Braves reliever Arodys Vizcaino underwent right shoulder surgery on Wednesday and is expected to miss the rest of the season.
Vizcaino last pitched on April 7. He allowed 1 earned run over four innings in four appearances this season. A.J. Minter will likely take over the closer role for Atlanta moving forward.
Vizcaino owns a 3.01 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with 218 strikeouts and 90 walks across 194 1/3 career innings.
