Alex Cobb (back) expected to return to Orioles' rotation Friday
Baltimore Orioles pitcher Alex Cobb (back) is expected to be activated off the injured list and start on Friday against the Minnesota Twins.
Cobb has been out since April 6 with a back injury but will return to the rotation without a rehab appearance on Friday. He threw a bullpen session without any issues on Tuesday.
Cobb went 5 2/3 innings with a 3.18 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 4 strikeouts in his only start of the year.
