Colorado Rockies infielder Pat Valaika will not start in Monday's game against the San Diego Padres.
Valaika will sit tonight with Noel Cuevas starting in right field and Garrett Hampson shifting to second base.
In 19 at-bats this season, Valaika has produced two hits and scored three runs.
