Troy Tulowitzki likely headed to Yankees' injured list with calf strain
New York Yankees shortstop Troy Tulowitzki left Wednesday's game against the Detroit Tigers in the fourth inning with a left calf strain.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone says Tulowitzki has a “low-grade” left calf strain that will “most certainly” lead to a stint on the injured list. Gleyber Torres moved to shortstop and Tyler Wade replaced Tulo at second base Wednesday. Miguel Andujar (shoulder) is already out, so the Yankees are running thin on infielders.
Tulo is 2-for-10 with a double and a home run through four games.
