Angels' Justin Upton (toe) expected to miss 8-to-12 weeks
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton (toe) is expected to be sidelined the next 8-to-12 weeks, per Jeff Fletcher of Southern California News Group.
Upton has been on the IL with a toe injury that was diagnosed as turf toe. However, after receiving another evaluation by a doctor, it appears the ailment is going to require more time to heal than initially thought. The new timeline would have Upton back at the beginning of June at the earliest. Brian Goodwin and Peter Bourjos will likley split time in left until Upton is ready to return.evaluation by a doctor,
