Angels' Justin Upton (toe) expected to miss 8-to-12 weeks

Los Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton (toe) is expected to be sidelined the next 8-to-12 weeks, per Jeff Fletcher of Southern California News Group.

What It Means:

Upton has been on the IL with a toe injury that was diagnosed as turf toe. However, after receiving another evaluation by a doctor, it appears the ailment is going to require more time to heal than initially thought.
