Yu Darvish (blister) lined up to start Saturday for Chicago
Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Yu Darvish (blister) is expected to start on Saturday against the Texas Rangers, barring any setbacks.
Darvish left his last spring training start with a blister but was able to make it through a minor league game without an issue on Saturday. The former Ranger will continue to slot in behind Jon Lester as the number two starter on the Cubs, barring injuries this season.
Our models project Darvish for a 3.93 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 158 strikeouts in 139 2/3 innings pitched in 2019.
