Tampa Bay's Yandy Diaz will start at third base on Opening Day
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz will start in Thursday's game against the Houston Astros.
Diaz will be the starting third baseman on Opening Day after Matt Duffy was shut down due to multiple injuries. Look for Diaz to rotate around the infield depending on the pitching matchup.
For the 2019 season, our models project Diaz to produce a .273 average with 3 homeruns and 37 RBI in 373 plate appearances.
