Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Rhys Hoskins will be sidelined the rest of this week due to mild left shoulder soreness.
Phillies manager Gabe Kapler says it's a precautionary move and that Hoskins will be fine for Opening Day. The 26-year-old slugger should benefit from Philadelphia's offseason additions of Bryce Harper and J.T. Realmuto. Hoskins has gone 8-of-34 with 1 home run, 4 RBI, and 3 runs scored in Grapefruit League action this spring.
numberFire's models expect Hoskins to bat .251 with 35 home runs, 101 RBI, 91 runs scored, and 6 steals across 628 plate appearances in 2019.
