Julio Teheran to toe rubber Opening Day for Braves
Atlanta Braves pitcher Julio Teheran will be the team's Opening Day starter, manager Brian Snitker announced Monday.
This became the clear choice when the Braves confirmed Mike Foltynewicz would start the season on the injured list with an elbow injury. It will be Teheran's sixth straight Opening Day start.
numberFire's models expect Teheran to pick up 10 wins in 2019 while posting a 4.16 ERA and 1.26 WHIP with 168 strikeouts and 75 walks across 184 innings.
