Blue Jays' Devon Travis undergoes knee operation
Toronto Blue Jays Devon Travis underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee on March 13 to repair a small meniscus tear.
Travis is expected to be able to return to baseball activities in 4-6 weeks. The 28-year-old was bothered by left knee issues last season and had an operation on his right knee in 2017. Lourdes Gurriel will be Toronto's starting second baseman on Opening Day.
Travis slashed .232/.275/.381 with 11 home runs, 44 RBI, 41 runs scored, and 3 steals across 378 plate appearances this season.
