The Cleveland Indians have traded infielder Yandy Diaz to the Tampa Bay Rays in a three-team deal.
Diaz and minor-league pitcher Cole Susler are leaving Believeland and heading down south to Tampa Bay. The Rays are sending Jake Bauers to Cleveland, and the Mariners and Indians are swapping Edwin Encarnacion and Carlos Santana.
In 39 games last season, Diaz hit for a .312 average with 15 runs, 15 RBI and a .797 OPS.
