Slugger Adrian Gonzalez's right hand was plunked in the the 4th inning by Mets starting pitcher Steven Matz. Gonzalez was force to leave the game with a hand contusion.
Gonzalez is considered day-to-day but don't expect him to miss many games. The Dodgers durable first baseman has averaged playing in 159 games over the past 9 seasons. He is having another all-star worthy season batting .291, with 15 bombs, a wOBA of .368, and the 4th highest nERD on the Dodgers of 2.40.
