Stephen Strasburg has been sent to the DL on what has been diagnosed as a strained left oblique. The Nat's ace was pulled from the mound by manager Matt Williams with one out left in the 4th inning in yesterday's game.
After the game, Williams told the media "Strasburg felt tightness in his right side...we're not gonna take a chance there." Strasburg has already been the on DL once this year and will now miss a few more weeks. In return, the Nationals have called up RHP Taylor Jordan from Triple-A Syracuse.
