Mitch Moreland not in Red Sox' lineup in Game 1
Boston Red Sox infielder Mitch Moreland is sitting on Tuesday in Game 1 of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Moreland, who started in the clinching Game 5 of the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros, will be replaced at first base by Steve Pearce against Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw.
In the 4-1 victory on Thursday night, Moreland went 2-4 with a run scored.
