Christian Vazquez sitting in Game 1 for Boston
Boston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez is not in the lineup on Tuesday in Game 1 of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Vazquez, who started the clinching Game 5 of the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros, will be replaced behind the plate by Sandy Leon against Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw.
In Boston's 4-1 victory on Thursday, Vazquez went 1-3 with a strikeout before being pinch-hit for.
