Clayton Kershaw to start Game 1 of the World Series for the Dodgers
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw will officially start Game 1 of the World Series against the Red Sox.
It has been a very good October for the future Hall of Famer, who has allowed a 2.37 ERA in 19.0 innings this postseason. He had one subpar start in the NLCS but has otherwise made those peddling the narrative "he cannot pitch in the playoffs" look as silly as they sound.
Kershaw has struck out 22.2% and walked just 5.6% of the batters he faced in the 2018 playoffs, while allowing a .472 OPS.
