Yonder Alonso sitting for Indians in Game 3 Monday afternoon
Cleveland Indians first baseman Yonder Alonso is out of the starting lineup for Game 3 of the American League Division Series against the Houston Astros on Monday.
Edwin Encarnacion will cover first base while Alonso takes a seat versus Astros southpaw Dallas Keuchel. Yandy Diaz will play designated hitter for Cleveland.
Alonso went a combined 0-for-6 with 4 strikeouts in the first two games of the series.
