Los Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons is out of Sunday's starting lineup versus the Oakland Athletics.
Simmons went 1-for-4 with 2 runs scored and a stolen base on Saturday. Kaleb Cowart will replace him at shortstop in Sunday's finale. Sherman Johnson will make the start at second base and bat ninth versus Athletics left-hander Brett Anderson.
Simmons enters Sunday averaging 9.3 FanDuel points in 146 games this season, while slashing .292/.337/.417 with 11 home runs, 75 RBI, 68 runs scored, and 10 steals across 600 plate appearances.
