Angels' Jose Briceno starting Wednesday night
Los Angeles Angels catcher Jose Briceno is starting on Wednesday night versus the Texas Rangers.
Briceno will replace Joe Hudson behind the plate to catch left-hander Andrew Heaney and bat seventh versus Rangers southpaw Yohander Mendez. The 26-year-old rookie has hit a home run in each of his past two outings.
