Los Angeles Angels rookie first baseman Jose Fernandez is out of Wednesday's starting lineup against the Texas Rangers.
Fernandez will yield obligations at first base to Jefry Marte on Wednesday. He is 1-for-7 with a walk drawn and a strikeout in two games since after missing a contest due to a minor right hand contusion.
