Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Jake Bauers is starting on Wednesday versus the New York Yankees.
Bauers will replace Ji-Man Choi (head, ear) at first base and bat eighth versus Yankees right-hander Masahiro Tanaka. The 22-year-old rookie is hitless in his last 10 at-bats.
